Assist with planning and hosting community events, temple gatherings, and seasonal ceremonies.

Food Drives & Distribution
Help pack and deliver food boxes, manage GoddessLife Fridges, or support Gaia Ministry’s community nourishment programs.

Administrative & Tech Assistance
Provide help with scheduling, data entry, website updates, or online form creation for ministry events.

Social Media & Content Support
Share ministry updates, assist with video editing or posting, and help us amplify our mission online.

Education & Curriculum Development
Support our Education and StarSeed Academy Ministries by helping to design lesson materials, organize educational content, or assist with teaching tools.

Temple Assistants
Hold sacred space during Sunday Temple gatherings — greeting attendees, managing chat support during Zoom sessions, or assisting with preparation and closing rituals.

Community Outreach

Volunteer Coordinator (Volunteer → Paid Director Role in 2026)

Overview

The Volunteer Coordinator will organize, recruit, and support the heart of GoddessLife Ministries—our volunteers. This role involves managing outreach, maintaining communication, and ensuring every project, fundraiser, and event has the support it needs. As the ministry expands, this position will evolve into a paid Volunteer Director role in 2026.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and organize new volunteers.
  • Maintain volunteer records and schedules.
  • Communicate with volunteers to ensure they feel supported and valued.
  • Coordinate staffing for events, drives, and fundraisers.
  • Collaborate with other coordinators to match volunteers with the right departments.
  • Develop creative ways to engage and retain volunteers.

The Membership Coordinator plays a key role in growing the ministry’s membership base. This is a commission-based volunteer position ideal for someone with social media or marketing experience who can help us reach our goal of 1,000 monthly members within 12 months.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute grassroots and digital strategies to increase membership.
  • Engage new audiences through social media and community outreach.
  • Track and report membership sign-ups and commissions earned.
  • Collaborate with leadership on marketing campaigns and incentive programs.

  • Create and design content using Canva and AI tools.
  • Schedule and repurpose posts across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Collaborate with other coordinators on campaigns and event promotion.
  • Research effective hashtags and optimize engagement strategies.
  • Help schedule and organize content recording sessions for leadership.
  • Track analytics and make creative recommendations.

The Events Director plans, organizes, and executes the sacred and community gatherings of GoddessLife Ministries. From healing ceremonies to fundraisers and pop-up events, this role ensures that each experience reflects the beauty and intention of our mission.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee planning and logistics for in-person and online events.
  • Collaborate with the Volunteer and Fundraising Coordinators to ensure staffing and budget needs are met.
  • Manage event timelines, materials, and vendor communication.
  • Coordinate with marketing for event promotion and registration.
  • Collect post-event feedback and document highlights for reports and outreach.

Virtual Donations Coordinator (Volunteer | Remote)

Overview:
GoddessLife Ministries is seeking a dedicated and organized Virtual Donations Coordinator to help secure and manage physical and in-kind donations that support our community initiatives. This role is remote and ideal for someone skilled in communication, outreach, and organization who wants to help families and women in need—while advancing the ministry’s sacred mission from anywhere in the world.

You’ll serve as the bridge between generous donors, local volunteers, and ministry leadership to ensure that donations flow smoothly into our programs and reach the people who need them most.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Outreach & Partnerships: Research and connect with businesses, organizations, and individuals who can donate goods or materials (food, toiletries, household items, books, etc.).
  • Networking: Build partnerships with grocery stores, brands, and community groups to create recurring donation streams.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with our Local Donation Liaisons in Virginia and the DMV to arrange pick-ups, drop-offs, or shipments.
  • Tracking & Documentation: Maintain records of donations pledged, received, and distributed using ministry-provided templates or systems.
  • Communication: Send follow-up emails, thank-you letters, and donation confirmations to maintain strong relationships with supporters.
  • Campaign Support: Assist with donation-related promotions during special events and fundraisers (e.g., holiday drives, “Feed 100 Families” campaign).

Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Confident reaching out to companies or partners via phone, email, or social media.
  • Basic computer literacy (Google Drive, Sheets, or CRM tools).

Local Donations Liaison (Volunteer | Part-Time | Virginia & DMV Area)

Location: Two positions available – 1 in Richmond, VA, and 1 in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia)
Reports To: Executive Director – GoddessLife Ministries

Overview:
We are seeking two grounded, organized, and service-oriented Local Donations Liaisons to support the physical side of GoddessLife Ministries’ donation programs. You’ll be responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, and coordinating the physical movement of donated goods to and from community partners and events.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on service, connecting with local communities, and being part of tangible acts of love and care—such as food drives, family support initiatives, and temple supply collections.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Receiving Donations: Collect, organize, and inventory physical donations from individuals and partner organizations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange local pick-ups, drop-offs, or deliveries in coordination with the Virtual Donations Coordinator.
  • Storage Management: Maintain a clean, organized area for donation storage (home garage, small office space, or designated ministry storage site).
  • Event Support: Assist with preparation and distribution for seasonal drives, community giveaways, and ministry events.
  • Documentation: Record quantities and types of goods received for accurate reporting and social media updates.
  • Communication: Stay in regular contact with the ministry team to update on needs, arrivals, and inventory levels.

Ideal Candidate
  • Located in Virginia (preferably Richmond or the DMV area).
  • Reliable transportation and ability to move small-to-medium boxes or supplies.
  • Organized and dependable with attention to detail.
